uhhhh im not a nerd beside computers but. A wireless uhhhhh modem would help, because im pretty sure adjectives laptops are wireless, not sure about that any, turn it on, then connect, except try get a lan telecommunication to connect to ur non wireless modem and connect to ur laptop, im not sure about this stuff, and im a moment ago trying to help.
