Good laptop/notebook for almost $600?

What is a perfect laptop/notebook for no more than $600? I want to be able to hold a wearing clothes amount of music and be able to play games online specifically Battlefield 2142.

You could probably find a cheap HP or Compaq for that much, but it's going to be pretty insipid. Office Depot tends to own good deal on laptops if you don't mind mail-in rebates (they can filch up to 4 or 5 months). You could probably find a decent Toshiba, Gateway, or HP between $600-$800.
If you are going to be playing games and holding a clad amount of music... you may need to spend more than $600 (even if you build your own computer).

you will own to get a PC
Buy.com and Bizrate.com are basically two good possibilities.
