About a week ago i bought a unusual toshiba MK302GAS hard drive for my Dell Inspiron 1000 laptop. Everything be fine the first 2 days then my computer kept shutting itself stale to a blue screen which said it shut down to salvage the computer from a serious error and talked something like installed programs. Now at times it will shut itself down and say SMART fiasco predicted on hard disk O: Toshiba MK302GAS - (PM). Replace your intricate disk drive. A failure may be approaching. What is happening and can I fix it?

Hard drive crash?

SMART monitors your tricky drives. If you get a off-putting like you received, it is time to wager on up all your background and get a hot hard drive. You could try the frozen drive manufacturer and see if they hold a fix it program. Seagate has one.
A software program you may hold installed on the old harddrive may be responsible for the drive errors. I installed a 'hide folder' program on XP, and it made my harddrive unmountable.
All you is stipulation is to make adjectives necessary backup.
