Graphic Tablet/ Computer Stylus?

I'm thinking roughly getting a graphic tablet/ stylus for my computer (dell inspiron) but i'm not too familiarized with the different brands and which is a honest quality one. i'm not expecting to reimburse too much, preferably 100-150. i'll probably use it for drawing/ working on stuff on my computer, but nothing too methodical. i would use it as a template to draw sketches and maybe pilfer notes on within class. any recommendations? serious direction greatly appreciated.
