Help beside Dell Inspiron 6000? Setup cd-rom?

Last week i delete nortons and restarted my laptop and when turned it back on it said i needed to put setup cd-rom that come with laptop i did not enjoy so i called dell he said on boot up eyeshade press F8 and the computer went to ultimate configuration and works but now i cant re-download anything big-hearted weird... is near another way to acquire laptop back to ingenious settings with out setup cd-rom???

You could try system restore hindmost the the farthest point, but I doubt that will work. The lone way other later that is find out if you can reinstall the OS beside out the basic setup disc, and using a normal window instalation disk.

You can, but it will thieve some work. First you will need to progress to dell website and download and save ALL your drivers. Then you will involve a Windows XP CD, which you can usually purchase from a local repair shop, purely tell them you dont hold your disc, but you have your C.O.A., Boot from the disc, delete divider C:, format the unpartitioned space, install Windows XP, install your drivers.



WARNING!! You will lose ANY and ALL data that you currently own on your hard drive if you follow these steps. If you dont consistency comfortable doing this, take it to a local repair shop, and convey them you just want a format and reinstall.
